Learning to use your time wisely is super important. Set a time to make/take phone calls. Instead of answering the phone whenever it rings consider setting aside an hour or so each day specifically for taking and making phone calls. I’ve written before about how much time can be consumed in your day by a phone call.

The log-in can either be done using your email address or your phone number that is tied to your PayPal account. It does take a bit of practice learning how to hold your device; but once you've got it, it works every time. The receipt can be mailed to your customer's email or texted to their phone.

No delicate tippy-tapping on the keyboard for me. The next time you get an email that seems to be a thinly veiled jab – or even an outright insult – to you or your work, take a deep breath, wait a bit, and write back a quick email that asks if you can discuss this either via online chat or over the phone the next day.

I am not a freelancer as such but I do work from home and I’ve training my boss and colleagues to stop arranging meetings after 4pm (still working on that one), I’ve been forcing myself to step away from the keyboard and to stop checking work emails after hours. Just once in a while… I find I have those moments as well, and if you’re not right there with the pen or the keyboard, then you’ve lost it. I saw E.Gilbert’s TED talk shortly before I learned I suffered from Bipolar Disorder and what she said resounded so true it was scary. I learned all my sacres right here.
