Even if you need the service or product from your supplier, check others all the time, insurance, telephone, utilities, etc. Ask to pay in 60 or 90 days, or get an early payment discount. And I totally agree on not buying brand-new equipment. You will find things you don’t need – trust me you will.

The set-up cost for this business is one of the more expensive ones due to all the equipment that will be required. Pay attention to the reason why your customer is buying your product – if it is for a regular event you should make note of this and contact them again prior to the next time it takes place and offer them a discount.
