I have picked up so many tips from her on how to negotiate and get your way with suppliers that I wanted to share them with you. Don’t let the supplier rush you into making any decisions.

Every supplier is competing in an over-crowded market, racing their competitors to the bottom of their profit margins through aggressive discounts. Gym memberships (or equipment) and never use it because they feels healthier the moment they pay. It’s their customer retention strategy. The office supplies industry is cut-throat.

Even if you need the service or product from your supplier, check others all the time, insurance, telephone, utilities, etc. Ask to pay in 60 or 90 days, or get an early payment discount. And I totally agree on not buying brand-new equipment. You will find things you don’t need – trust me you will.

This is a very low cost business to set up if you own computer equipment already as you will only need to pay to have your website developed and hosted. Business environment and set-up cost: There are no barriers to online international coaching other than language (although even this can be overcome by translation).

The set-up cost for this business is one of the more expensive ones due to all the equipment that will be required. Pay attention to the reason why your customer is buying your product – if it is for a regular event you should make note of this and contact them again prior to the next time it takes place and offer them a discount.
