The goal is to be well-rounded in all aspects. I wasn’t there to socialize or go out of my way to point out I was a temp to try to get a full-time job. My goal as temp was to be asked back as a temp repeatedly - that’s it. Proving I was a good temp, proved that I would be a good full-time employee. Exhaust all resources.

Whether based on your cover letter or resume, recruiters only take 6 seconds to see if you are match. Know your goal and work backwards and figure out a vague flexible timeline of goals and promotions needed. The kicker was, since the event was international, there was a time zone difference.
