As of January 2009 I started to actively promote the blog, becoming active (some say that I become even too active ) in social media outlets like Twitter , FaceBook and StumbleUpon. You gotta promote your blog, otherwise you’ll never reach to your audience. Promotion is definitely key. Another huge mistake.

I wrote 4 ebooks (all of them with printed versions published on Amazon too) and started 2 live workshops, one on online business and the other one in professional blogging. A lot of stuff happened since them.

It now has over 150 free personal excellence articles and free ebooks, chocked full of content and value. My blog has also been featured on CNN.com and other prominent local media outlets. There are 1-2 ad channels here and there, a free ebook gets readers to sign up for their feed, 2-3 affiliate products and a bunch of amazon links.

Digital friends have an avatar and a status Instead of a body and a voice, most of the time you will identify a digital friend by the avatar they use on various social media sites, and by their status. Use social media functions with trust: retweet, like, promote. Get used to it, it’s not necessarily a bad thing.

But there is an important 25% which is made by consulting time, programming or interaction (email or social media). And everybody uses it big time. You copy paste parts of your messages, photos, songs, and videos. It saves a lot of time and makes your tasks a little less tedious.

Two of the most used applications on my iPhone (apart from all the social media apps for Twitter and Facebook ) are iBlueSky and Voice Recorder. I soon realized that I need capturing devices for only two environments: mobile and computer. Mobile Capturing Devices I own an iPhone and I use it.

Tip #2: When writing for others, be sure to retain copyright. If it's nonfiction, then you have an audio course, an ebook and a print book as an end result. The link to the recording either on the internet radio site or website/blog can also be posted on social media sites driving traffic to the desired location.
