It may help to compare your job description with your administrative procedures binder to highlight how you’re going above and beyond and adding value to your organization. Does your company offer gym memberships or tuition reimbursement? Train and mentor others.

Heres the column I did for Gannett: They have been called unflattering names such as the “Entitlement Generation” or “Generation Me,” but young people seeking jobs these days may have a new name: realistic. Interning is supposed to get you ahead, to help you find a job but now it seems people are just taking advantage. I think so.
