For clothing and accessories: keep a running list of what you need and let it build until you absolutely must shop. Keep in your mind that you are not going to use a credit card. We need the perfect dress and, of course, the shoes to go with the dress. That will force you to be more selective when shopping.

You might need them to help you if you have any issues during the course of the trip. Take clothes that you would wear to work and a few more business casual bits for evening activities. On the flight or during the course of the trip. Do take lots of cash and a credit card. Don’t dress inappropriately.

Of course, I will apply some filters. So, I usually take with me my identity card (in Europe I can travel only with that, I don’t need a passport), my driver license and my passport. In the form of the most used currencies (USD, Euros) or debit cards. But I still think I need to be covered with clothes for at least 2 days.

I often think I need new clothes, but when I clean out or organize my closet, I realize I have lots of options and everything I need at my fingertips. Cut up credit cards. Clean out your closet and donate unwanted clothes to charity. Have gratitude. Then you’ll be perfectly prepared to speed up and win in your business.
