It's December, the time of year when our thoughts are drawn to holiday festivities and the purchase of gifts. As a small business owner, it's also the time when you need to think about what you are going to do about client gifting. And if your business is totally project-based, you may not feel that a client gift is appropriate.

I have lists for the different holiday related categories – gift lists, holiday dinner menus and cooking plan, and festivities coordination (all the parties and fun activities!) Now, yes, having all of that organized is helpful but the gift list is really where it’s at. Then view the board in Calendar mode – boom!

Tech glitches happen all the time and 2 people controlling one person's calendar is not the easiest thing. If you have to purchase stuff for your boss - ask to xerox the credit card, both front and back now. Are there favorites of anything your boss likes - their coffee, restaurants, cafeteria lunch food, etc?
