It’s good to include a copy of your company or client policies, too. Another important piece I always include in my packages is the New Client Intake form. This is a form that the new client completes and returns to me. Other items you can include in your welcome package are your W-9 form, business cards and company brochures.

E-mail is no longer just for personal use, with all our accepted short forms: LOL, U, GB and a co-workers favourite, OMG! With the increasing use of e-mail as the first choice for business correspondence it opens a whole new world of dos and donts for the assistant. Writing all in caps is a form of e-mail shouting. I also can use the recording to make a cd and give to potential clients or current clients instead of a business card or brochure. I have a firm policy that there is no need to "reinvent the wheel" Whenever possible, use what you have. By recording the radio show I have a recording for posting on my website or blog.
