“I love your blog and really appreciate your insights and advice. The staffing agent asked if I was open to temp to perm, even though the position was for a full time EA, he feels the CEO may need time to see if it is a good fit. I have no idea how long "temp" is considered before they would offer the permanent position.

I love your question because no one has ever asked this question on the blog. I would also volunteer at work and socialize with my co-workers during the holiday gift wrapping parties. I mentored other younger assistants. I will temp and enjoy the downtime to spring clean and read for personal/intra self improvement.
