I was excited about my Slinky Mindset metaphor and dispatched my youngest daughter to take a video of a Slinky going down our front stairs. It was when we resorted to searching YouTube for videos of others achieving that we realised what the problem was. Managing expectations takes skill and practise. A takeaway for managers.
