More often than not, the contracts are fairly straightforward: you negotiate the job you have to complete, and how much the company will pay you. That’s not to say there’s no room for negotiations but in typical situations, it’s about a flat fee. As a result, you do start viewing public holidays and annual leave differently.

After only 2 weeks, I found a great company through a staffing agency and the position was full time working for a wonderful CEO. Keep in mind, the role of a staffing agency/HR is to work for the company and to protect the CEO/client, their company, and their business, and their money.
