I work at a travel and event planning agency. Most large companies have in house travel department or a pre-approved vendor and agency list. 9 times out of 10, whenever I need to take care of task, the first thing I do is Google it, look for it on Yelp, or look on LinkedIn. Call every single temping agency in town.

I found every single one of my jobs through a temping agency or by referral. I learned through informational interviews that I should apply to temp agencies. That one unassuming, non-meaty, first temp gig got me my first CEO EA job and eventually my promotion to project manager down the road. What is your favourite movie?
