After school, they couldn’t wait to quiz me on information they had learned that day. This was even instrumental in building their self-esteem. Amazingly, they grew to become excellent students, with a high level of self-confidence. I must say, some of their questions really stumped me!

My self-esteem grew by leaps and bounds as I became more active in IAAP. Once I had that information, I was able to make suggestions on how to help my manager meet his objectives. Also start referring to yourself as an administrative professional or as an assistant. I did this by becoming a member of IAAP.

I know that is easier said than done because low self esteem may be the roadblock. I found this link to the Rosenberg Self Esteem Scale which has some questions we can ask ourselves to see where we are on the self esteem scale. Now that’s positive self talk. Too much information.
