Between 2015-2019, Iceland ran two large-scale trials of a reduced working week of 35-36 hours with no reduction in pay. What the four day week is not is a form of condensed working. UK recruitment firm, MRL Consulting Group took a different approach, by closing its offices every Friday for a six-month trial in 2019.
