With us, travel is always interesting. Of course, the investment in travel goes well beyond money. I am not a flexible person.

There’s also something particularly poignant about sitting down to a table set for one in an unfamiliar restaurant amid the sound of strange accents and clinking glasses. I waited in the bar for my keys and was able to grab a drink, log on to the WiFi and check my emails all in a comfortable and cozy part of the hotel. Advertised minimum rate per night is £84 (January 2015). It didn’t hurt that a local rugby team were also relaxing in the bar! Our opinions are entirely our own.

I manage his schedule and monitor his emails, as well as help organise some of his travel, company events, and client dinners, occasional research, expenses and ad hoc tasks – all the general PA duties. There are some fab vietnamese restaurants – I’m partial to a kimchi banh mi.

Meeting other assistants who work near by, who share the same suppliers, hotels, restaurants etc. I recently spoke at the Assist Conference in September 2015, and at Skyscanner’s Company Presentation in December to around 300 people. It is brilliant! Sherien : I am sure I am with the millions when I say I can’t live without my phone.
