Between 2015-2019, Iceland ran two large-scale trials of a reduced working week of 35-36 hours with no reduction in pay. This was certainly the case with MSL where the staff came to Stone and said that on week’s with bank holidays on the Monday, they’d volunteer to work on Fridays, as they could meet their targets more easily that way.
