I had just spent 2 months travelling around a freezing USA and although back in the UK my body was still a little cold, a little jet lagged and in serious need of some rest and relaxation. Similar to a lot of spa hotels the Nutfield’s Cloister restaurant offers a three course meal (£38 per head) as part of the weekend package rates.

After a few hours lounging around I thought it was time to get up and check my emails – the wifi is perfect. The Mansion does have a restaurant on site called Circa 1886. After a thoroughly decent night sleep I made my way to breakfast which was served in the restaurant, located in the mansion’s garden.

Located in downtown Chicago there are loads and loads of cool restaurants and bars nearby. My suite also came with the beautiful Bowers and Wilkins Zeppelin wireless audio system which meant I could play my terribly uncool music whilst I checked my emails at the work desk. The ACME is a great choice for business travel in Chicago.
