Negotiating Time If the person persists on bothering you, one thing that you can always negotiate is time. This way, you will get more time and the requester will get their task completed in a reasonable amount of time. Ask them when it needs to get done and come to a "reasonable" compromise.

I knew we were going to go back to that city the next year so negotiated with the hotel that if I booked the next event at their venue would they waive the cancellation fee. Negotiation As you saw above, negotiation is possible. Fortunately, they were able to waive it and we only lost our $500 deposit. It is always worth asking.

In 2008 I took a job as an Executive Assistant and Corporate Secretary to a non-profit corporation. My daughter had just left home and I was a empty nester so I had time to try something different and put some time and effort into a new position. This position was certainly different than anything I had ever done.
