Meeting other assistants who work near by, who share the same suppliers, hotels, restaurants etc. After I moved to Edinburgh in 2004, I’ve worked in a series of roles which have all involved executive support at senior level. I view blogging as just another tool in the networking arsenal, and love meeting people this way. My aunt had recently died and I had a small inheritance that we were going to invest in finding another line of work for my husband (Chef/Restaurant Mgr.).
