It’s backbreaking work, and when they first purchased it, the place was also not making much money. But having the self-esteem, confidence, and finding the balance is hard. I raised my graphic design rates several years ago and it made a huge difference in the clients I attracted, my income and my business self-esteem.

My blog is my proof of purchase. A chance to show off all of my skills and convey the sense that “hey, I can do this for you too.&# That salary came from advertising purchased by business to air on my station. One can promote ideas, push policy, raise interest, and perhaps, in the long term, even change behavior.
