A tip I keep coming across in the business and start up world is this: If you want money/a job ask for advice or information.

We also got 2 floating/personal holidays, about 3-10 sick days, and also working in the entertainment industry, most places shut down for the last 10-14 days of the year. We also get most bank holidays, half day or early closure before a long weekend, and some companies close early on Fridays during the summer at 2pm or 3pm.
