Make sure they leave with the information they need. Use sub-headings to break up large blocks of information. And don’t get me started on those sites that make you play hide-and-seek when you try to obtain information. Keep things as simple as possible for the people visiting your website. Pages should be easily skimmed.

Optimise each page to a search term – if you have titled all of your title tags the same then Google is less likely to realize you have a page full of content for someone searching for information on, say, “small business infrastructure.” Trying to keep information to yourself so no one can find out is kinda of premature from my perspective.
