Obtaining funds from work to complete training in the current environment is difficult. Yes – I’ve qualified since as an ISO programme manager and auditor, a Health & Safety manager and assessor, completed various MS Office and bespoke applications courses and a facilities management course. Not yet no.

The books you read, the tapes you listen to, and the seminars you attend are almost invariably the result of a suggestion from someone you respect. You want to meet people who can be friends, guides and mentors. You give them a chance to see what you can really do, outside the work environment.

Our parents, our mentors, our employers talked with us. One on one consulting, seminars, meet ups are difficult to copy and expensive to hold. You can’t outsource your US seminar to the Philippines, yet. Games and virtual environments (difficult to create as a learning tool). Talk helps create solutions.

I stand back, and begin moving notes until the ideas start flowing into easy categories: Blog, Projects, Home, Family, Health - etc. For bigger changes, enlist a mentor or professional coach to help you stay on track. To help you move through it I recommend leaving the environment that is overwhelming you. Obliterate Overwhelm!

Who said it was smart to give a one-hour free seminar, speech or workshop almost every single day? We cost the government less in sick time and health care, and we help support the economy with the money we make. are our mentors, as well as the discussion leaders.
