Here are Some Good-Sense E-mail Etiquette Tips E-mail Salutations: Although e-mail is less formal than writing a letter it is still polite to open with a greeting. Writing all in caps is a form of e-mail shouting.

Thanks, Richard Posted on 5 March, 2008 10:43 AM Deb I love CTRL-Z (undo), CTRL-H (find & replace), the split screen feature in Word (it splits the screen into 2 sections so you can look at 2 different areas of the document at the same time. Especially when you are cutting and pasting in a 200 page document!!

If there are forms that need to filled in and it has a due date in June, I put those forms in the June folder with a bf date on it for a week before it is due. For paper things that I need to remember to follow up on, I put the letter or document in my Wait Bin (which is a tray for things I am waiting on). Thats great!

Put it in a folder for your boss’s signature in completed form, i.e. envelope clipped to letter and attachments. If you are sending the letter by regular mail, courier or registered mail, make sure you have the proper postage, courier slips or forms filled out. I usually put a sticky note on it for that as well.
