Talk it out to build self-confidence. If you struggle with showing your best self during an interview, enlist a friend to conduct a mock interview. Ask for a complimentary drink at lunch, or request a loyalty discount from your cable provider. Build self-confidence by being the calm. Practice self-care.

DON’T have low self-esteem. Did more than my share of hiring before a recent move into the world of freelance, and got tired of hearing in interviews about what a great opportunity this would be for the applicant. The two that really tweak my lug nuts are: following directions and showing some self-esteem.
