A manager has to have confidence that you know how to do your job. I just did not have confidence that this person was going to be able to assist me. Make the interview count and ask the right questions. Ask yourself what things really matter to you and ask questions to bring those things up in the interview. Hire smart!

I read something that made me pause, but because I was in a big hurry and felt confident that the other person was covering that base, I let it go. If you get an opportunity for an interview you may as well go and try it. I also like people to show confidence by shaking my hand. Be prepared in the interview with your own questions too.
