Within those 2 hours I have to manage my emails and requests and print him either the week or the day agenda with all the meetings and commitments that we have planned for that day/week. He was also an international traveler so I had to learn everything about time zones, flights and everything in between when your boss travels to a foreign country. And travel he did. In the last year I worked for him he was away from home travelling for at least 80 nights and for the most part it was international travel.

A picky manager who gives you more and more complex tasks without showing recognition or proposing you for a promotion, that’s a disempowering person. If it’s a friendship, see if the person at the end is not having any hidden agendas which will break up the validation process at some point. Rewind and start over.

As my business continues to grow from it's inception in 2004, I've added a lot more to my agenda, including blogging on my website, guest blogging, writing articles for e-zines and in print for local magazines, creating a monthly newsletter and doing public speaking.
