We had a full day’s agenda ahead of us! Following that, we walked over en masse to the Summerlin Ballroom for our conference day. At each place setting were a folder and a resource conference booklet, spiral bound. Day 1 dawned with a blazing sun and bright early heat. What a way to GROW! Sobering words!

We also found the value of supporting people in terms of their mental health, spiritual health and even physical health and making sure they have the resources. I’m not sure if you see that online of where all celebrating conferences are back, and you get to meet people in person, and I get to see my teammates.

I stand back, and begin moving notes until the ideas start flowing into easy categories: Blog, Projects, Home, Family, Health - etc. Imagine sheets of paper fluttering to the flow behind you as you charge from one meeting to the next conference call. Not only is this overwhelming, it is ineffective.

Watching the crew overcome huge obstacles, like figuring out how to equip cameras that can remain underwater for months at a time, provides much of the drama in Chasing Coral. The documentary follows a highly skilled team of filmmakers on a mission to document the mostly hidden impact of climate change.
