List your resume on career job sites - Okay, a lot of people will tell you it’s not worth it to post your resume on sites like Monster, CareerBuilder, Indeed, etc. So while that may never happen again, I still post my resume online with a stripped down version because you never know. The point of the informational interview is to find out how they got started, what advice they would give you, get realistic expectations of what your first job in the industry could be, get a feel for what to expect, have them critique your resume, and really gauge if it's something you want to do.
