This does increase the preparation time, but on the day of the meeting it goes very smoothly with no stress. To prepare a minute template simply use your agenda and put it in minute format. Under each agenda heading you can then record the appropriate information when you are in the meeting. Great blog, Patricia.

Every time I use a bus ticket, I keep a mental inventory so I know when I need to buy some more and dont show up at the bus stop one morning and Oops! The night before I go to a Board meeting, I review all my templates, agendas, binder, attendance sheets and everything I am going to need or might need. no tickets. Great article!
