During the 10 minutes I had to wait for my room I was able to rest my travel weary body on one of the comfortable sofas next to the open fire in the lobby area. The hotel is right in the centre of the Gold Coast which means that the city’s best restaurants are a short walk away (not to mention the most amazing shops).

I manage his schedule and monitor his emails, as well as help organise some of his travel, company events, and client dinners, occasional research, expenses and ad hoc tasks – all the general PA duties. There are some fab vietnamese restaurants – I’m partial to a kimchi banh mi. What are the main aspects of your role?

Meeting other assistants who work near by, who share the same suppliers, hotels, restaurants etc. Previous to this I worked in such roles as Secretary to a group of Consultants, Marketing Assistant for an Architect firm, Facilities Coordinator for a construction company and Purchase Ledger for NHS Legal department just to name a few.
