Fortunately, I had an intervention of sorts, in the form of a session a couple of years ago with the amazing Amy Thill who laid down the law to me and said that I wasn't allowed to buy anything else, unless I also promised, when it didn't work out as I'd hoped, to return it, or immediately donate it to charity. THAT quasi-hoarding was horrid.

I''ve stopped using Launch Center Pro for most forms of capturing information, and as such don''t really use it to launch any notetaking or writing apps like Evernote or Byword. In my case, that meant removing/deactivating all social networking, communication, and calendar-type apps. That''s where Drafts comes in.
