The main reason I started my business in the first place (way back in November 2001) was so that I could have a flexible schedule – I had two young children at the time and needed to have a very flexible schedule that would allow me to be around for them, particularly during school holidays. And to also know that you are not alone.

He also relies on various forms of communication, ranging from phone conversations to using social media such as Twitter or Facebook. Right now, we don’t have two employees in the same state, so we schedule weekly team meetings, and I make myself available at regular times by phone. Do I wish we could meet more often face-to-face?

You’ve taken it to an entirely new high, working around other people, incubation theories, mentoring theories, accelerator theories, fundings, exits, team rooms, the very start up to the very exit point overall. I came away from that, and this is colored for sure by the.com bust in 2001. Have you seen a paradigm shift or what?

Hochwarter over the phone. Then the 2001 recession hit the Telecom and IT sector. And I do understand that money does not buy happiness, etc etc, but we do heroes, mentors and models of good behavior. Can you provide the citation for the Hochwater stuff you discuss? I would love to see it myself. Keep up the good work!
