There was a group called Ten, the enterprise network in San Jose. Frank Cottle [ 00:11:00 ]: Yeah, we became mobile internally within a space, and as well as externally, it wasn’t just external mobility, it was also internal mobility. And it was inspired by a book written about networking at MIT called Venture Cafe.

In 2001 Mary Parry was homeless and living in a tent in Pennsylvania when she began befriending hikers along the roughly 2,190-mile Appalachian Trail.
