When the job ad says email us with information and samples, don’t tweet us and say, “Just click here.&# Speaking of links, if you have an ugly website with horrible copy that doesn’t reflect your skills, please don’t tell us. DON’T have low self-esteem. Work hours: 1) But try to hide it.

Especially when you’re inexperienced, self-esteem issues come into play – having people you respect say that you’re doing something right. Free samples, yes. If the objective is training in a specific subject, some of these would work better than others. Is the goal training?

A chance to show off all of my skills and convey the sense that “hey, I can do this for you too.&# Just like handing out free samples of your latest candy or cookie. I view my own blogging as (1) a demonstration of my ability, and (2) a free sample of my paid info-products. So you have to give out samples.
