They want you ready-formed with skills you can use day one. Destroying someone's self esteem doesn't actually make them better. I also don't see where self-esteem is destroyed.it's a story about the current job market and how it's changed the way that younger workers get jobs.

This builds your self-esteem, and the person you contact will remember that you made the effort to talk to them. Usually, when something is very easy, it is not impressive in any shape or form. Even with use of technology to contact others, it still depends on taking that initial decision-based risk.

Denial is a form of rejecting reality. I am considering hiring a guru or mentor from the Mentor club. Since you seem to own Mentor club, I guess it would be rather easy to hire somebody from your own business, right? Acceptance makes things manageable again. I want to spare myself the trouble that others had to go to.
