Low and behold, there was an email waiting for me from Nancy with several samples of her work! This is doubly important for parents, as children learn by watching what parents do, not by listening to what parents tell them to do while doing something different themselves. I was back in Nevada that same night – I got in around 6:45.

It’s not all that bad once you learn how, but it’s not a job for wall flowers. Even if going out on your own is a lifestyle decision, don’t be fooled into thinking that you can wing it. I have to admit that freelancing can get a little lonely. Smoke breaks with friends. You get a regular paycheck and paid benefits.
