Those blogs are worth their weight in gold (unless you’re the kind who learns from the School of Hard Knocks). When I was in 11th grade or so I had a private jazz piano teacher, who was pretty cool, and my highschool music teacher asked him to come in and do a seminar. However, it’s not a good thing either to be sloppy.

We listened, asked questions, and learned more every time we did. Especially when you’re inexperienced, self-esteem issues come into play – having people you respect say that you’re doing something right. One on one consulting, seminars, meet ups are difficult to copy and expensive to hold.
