I actively grow my LinkedIn network every week, if not every day. If I read a business article about someone in Los Angeles, I look them up and add them. When I hear about a company that interests me for any reason, I look for people who work there to add to my network. She gave me her business card.

I see one of two things, a blogger, who is paid to write content that promotes the services or products of another individual or business (ie. My blog is my proof of purchase. As of now, my website is more like a business card – something I can point prospective clients towards after I’ve already made initial contact.
