Learn about how your company structure affects pay. Salary and bonuses are taxed differently to dividends. If possible, get some advice from your accountant regarding the level of pay you plan on taking from the business. Research the going rate for CEOs in your industry. Don’t pay yourself too much or you will harm the company.

Back in time I build my factory in China at nearly zero cost – steal building, low salaries and no debt, in depressed market this is the way to survive and succeed. But remember you are working with small business and start-up business, like SOHO-, SME, SMB-, Micro-, Lifestyle-, Home-, DIY-, Hobby-, Boomer- or Personal business, like professional, contractors, freelancer, self-employed, sole-trader and virtual assistants , you need to keep the price low for them. I am not her only employer though.

Learn how to assess imbalances, how to get rid of the deadlines (replacing them with livelines, that is) and how to create the life you want. Well, I dont. Thanks for a great post!

You put hours of effort and study into learning a certain subject inside and out. You probably can’t remember when you last put the knowledge you learned in university to work in your everyday business affairs. You’ve probably forgotten half of what you learned, too.
