Create an office bible In case you get sick, go on vacation, or get hit by a bus, it’s always good to have an office bible so your temp or co-worker can have info at their fingertips when needed. This office bible should list any detail you can think of from both basic information, like or dislikes, favorite catering places, etc.

The shortest route is to look for temp work thru agencies or TaskRabbit, Craiglist, or volunteer. Think about all of this before you start asking people for help or when you network. Your best bet is to get some experience in admin and being an EA thru temping or other contract work. Network 2-3 degrees out for opportunities.

It occurred to me that even the most basic information isn't common knowledge sometimes. Sometimes companies don’t validate for parking especially if you are doing testing at a temp agency and are there for a few hours. The staffing agent asked if I was open to temp to perm, even though the position was for a full time EA, he feels the CEO may need time to see if it is a good fit. Google has an information line ( 1 800 466 4411 ). You can use google to get similar information. Too much information. It was then she introduced me to Google.

Both of these relationships are good for your cost-planning because they are not fixed, permanent costs, they are variable cost, meaning, when the project is finished the contract for your temp-workers, contractors finishes too.
