I was hoping that you might have insight/advice on how to create project work/better assist a C-Level exec that has never had an admin before. Like David also mentions, rather than use my calendar to indicate when I need to pick my daughter up from school I’d love to have the option of setting a time after I depart the school in the morning so Checkmark 2 tells me when to leave to pick her up.

You want one that can grow with you and your needs, meaning that things like adding contexts to tasks, creating projects, and features of that nature should be "baked in" where possible or the app should be allow you to add them yourself in less conventional ways. If you''ve got multiple projects on the go, then Begin may not work on its own.
