Even with the ability to search for these files being at our fingertips there’s often going to be duplicate files, revisions of documents, and other naming discrepancies that can get in your way despite all of your efforts to avoid that. It’s time to get tagging, creating sub-folders, and deleting dead files. That’s the key.

I stand back, and begin moving notes until the ideas start flowing into easy categories: Blog, Projects, Home, Family, Health - etc. Create email folders same as you would for word doc and paper files. Utilize your calendar to schedule tasks. Sit down at your calendar and block out the time for your tasks.

afreshspace   @ StephCalahan I just use a legal pad for daily to-do's but keep bigger or future projects in my outlook task list declutterlady   @ StephCalahan Hey, Stephanie, it's iPEP for me; 1 workspace/project w/ability to keep all in 1 place! Break down into bite size pieces, and put the pieces on the calendar.
