A move to London happened around 1996 and my first role as a PA for the Director of Human Resources for a recruitment agency. In London, I met my husband-to-be (now ex) and I ended up retiring and moving to the Caribbean for 5 years. A fabulous role which I loved. I got married, moved countries (with a cat) and had a baby in 9 months!

Roberta, Hopefully, everyone -- no matter the age -- will learn important lessons such as being more resourceful, networking and being resilient. Then the 2001 recession hit the Telecom and IT sector. My Dad lost his job and all his retirement benefits when I was in college, and worked in a gas station for the next 10 years.
