The next step is to jump industries and focus on the creative. If you’ve worked for the top dog at the equity firm and have a lot of experience, it’s usually understood that you are so talented you can work in any industry. I’ve heard of people even interning. It’s great you are already an EA from a reputable company.

I have heard of EAs working for successful international corporations and earning a very large salary. The most important thing is to take action and do something different so you can get promoted, get better tasks, that raise, or transition to a different role, dept, company, or industry. Almost every job has an admin element to it.

I love doing informationals because I like learning about what people do, even if I am not in that industry, and perhaps get an office tour down the line, and make a new friend if they introduce me to someone else. They all have different clients and cater to different parts of the city or industries. No, maybe 1 minute.
