If you do work in an open plan office try to have your desk in a position so that people can not walk up behind you or look over your shoulder. In a lot of cases it is easier to deal with confidential work if it is kept in an electronic format rather than as a piece of paper on your desk that can be picked up and moved around.

I did Media Studies at university and when I finished I tried to look for a job in media but didn’t quite succeed so I ended up working as an administrator for Deloitte in London from there I have worked my way through a number of positions and now I am an executive assistant for the COO of Torus Insurance, which is an Insurance company in London.

I was at the cottage with a friend and she was cranky and started to get wound up about something to do with her husband. By the end of the call her husband had caught her crankiness and it ended up with them both being angry. She ended up calling her husband back and apologizing for her bad mood. Small tasks that may imply you are spending your time are constant mail checking, gossiping with your work mates, being in your kids play checking your iPhone.
