State you’d love to be an EA and learn so much you can be promoted to coordinator, director, manager. When you job hunt keep this in mind.

The shortest route is to look for temp work thru agencies or TaskRabbit, Craiglist, or volunteer. Be honest you understand the paycut and why it doesn't bother you at the appropriate time in the interview process. Your best bet is to get a job with an executive that is also climbing the ladder so you follow them as they get promoted.
