Here are some of my favourites: Great Apps: Travel. This app is slightly expensive but worth paying for if your manager travels a lot. You can set it for your current location or receive alerts from places you are planning to travel too. Tipping in restaurants around the world can be very confusing.

This is not to say they only eat at the most expensive places, but they also know good food that is inexpensive. When surrounded by high net-worth individuals, they know good food.

I work at a travel and event planning agency. We are a great resource for Executive Assistants (we have several that we work with currently) booking high level travel globally but I am having trouble reaching out to the right people. Most large companies have in house travel department or a pre-approved vendor and agency list.

We ate at an Italian restaurant called Il Violino on Columbus Avenue which was very nice, although we did have a slight run in with the waiter who thought we had not tipped enough, despite it being 20% of the bill! I wouldn’t recommend eating around Time Square as it tends to either be over priced or a bit rubbish. Raging Bull!

I think the tipping point is where a blogger is blogging away and not selling – the just keep putting free content out there yet never ask for the sale. Now, that’s great.
