In London, I met my husband-to-be (now ex) and I ended up retiring and moving to the Caribbean for 5 years. I worked and temped at various places in general administrator/secretarial roles until I found a job where I really felt I could make a difference. I got married, moved countries (with a cat) and had a baby in 9 months!

Virtual workers can be from a “Temp-Agency&# or a from contracting firms. Both of these relationships are good for your cost-planning because they are not fixed, permanent costs, they are variable cost, meaning, when the project is finished the contract for your temp-workers, contractors finishes too. And as I was working, job hunting and/or temping, I had to find other sources of happiness. For example, I ABSOLUTELY love learning, helping people, and relaxing. This was mostly as a temp during very slow months when the entire industry was on vacation, but I’m sure the paycheck wasn’t as amazing as yours.
